SHREVEPORT, La. – The sprayground in downtown Shreveport is back open, just in time to help you cool off this summer.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday morning at Riverview Park, across from the Sci-Port Discovery Center.
The park was closed in 2018 due to flooding issues along the Red River. A $1 million capital improvement investment for the sprayground made it more flood-resilient and sustainable. Plus, colorful LED lights coordinate with the nearby Texas Street Bridge display.
