Shreveport native Hot Boy Yoshi taking his talents to New Orleans for Super Bowl weekend

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – The Super Bowl Host Committee has called on a Shreveport native to bring energy and his talents to New Orleans.

Marvell Brown, also known as DJ Hot Boy Yoshi, spoke with KSLA’s Domonique Benn about this once in a lifetime opportunity.

“So I’m actually gonna be working real closely with the Super Bowl Host Committee, and the NFL down here in New Orleans. I will be doing a media party that kicks off Super Bowl weekend, and then after that on Saturday, I’ll be working with Good Day Farm and with Fat Tuesday on Bourbon Street,” the entertainer said. “With Good Day Farm, they have a promotion. I DJ in there from like 2:00 until 4:00. I have like a 2-hour set there followed by me being on Bourbon Street at Fat Tuesdays, from 4:00 to 8:00. But from 12:00 to 4:00, a special guest, Cardi B, is going to be in there.”

He said an accomplishment like working with the Super Bowl Host Committee was on his checklist.

“These are things that I put on my checklist. Everything that I’ve done in the last three and a half or four years has been something on my checklist, whether it’s Christmas in the Sky or whether it’s Film Prize, whether it’s Rock the Clock, Essence Festival, the Bayou Classic, everything is on my checklist. “
