ECS quickly flourished to 55 employees and millions of dollars in revenue.

In addition to his thriving tech venture, he made a significant move by acquiring one of the oldest locally owned music stores in the country, Shreveport Music Co. This merger of his love for music with his entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated his versatility and dedication.

Beyond the music: A community leader:

Malsch’s influence extended beyond his businesses. He actively engaged with the Shreveport community. He served on various boards, including the Sci-Port Discovery Center, Caddo Career Center and Shreveport Common. Malsch’s entrepreneurial spirit knew no bounds. He made a significant real estate investment by purchasing the Andress building downtown, creating a space for local entrepreneurs and artists to thrive. Additionally, he founded JRM Ventures, a tech consulting firm, where he shared his insights with multiple tech companies.
