Experience a feast for your eyes, ears and tastebuds as nationally renowned author and chef Liz Williams takes us on a tour of Louisiana cuisine. The founder of the Southern Food & Beverage Museum in New Orleans, Williams writes about the origin and evolution of the dishes we know and love. This event includes free hors d’ouevres based on Williams’ carefully curated recipes as well as wine, spirits and nonalcoholic beverages. Visitors will be able to buy Williams’ books. You can only attend this unique evening by joining the Friends of the Spring Street Museum. The Friends organization supports Spring Street Museum, a showcase for Shreveport history and Northwest Louisiana cultural crown jewel.
