The flowers won’t be the only bright colors at the American Rose Garden the afternoon of Sunday, April 14, when the International Rose and Wine festival descends on the grounds. The event encourages all who attend to deck out in their best Spring attire, “The festival was started as a love for wine, as well as to bring attention and awareness to the American Rose Society,” said The Social Circle founder Sylvester Marshall.
“People can expect to taste wines from various regions, spend a day listening to great music, shopping with local vendors, and eating from some favorites eateries in the area,” Marshall said of the picnic style festival that encourages people to bring blankets to lay out on the lawns.
