SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) — KSLA Investigates obtained a copy of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s full lease for Millennium Studios with the City of Shreveport.
The document sheds more light on the potential impact on local businesses and workers.
The lease signed in January stipulates that G-Unit Studios pay $2,400 a year in rent.
It also requires G-Unit Studios to provide assistance like internships and job training to unemployed and underemployed people in Shreveport as part of the American Rescue Plan.
And it requires G-Unit Studios to get goods and services from local, small businesses as well as minority- and women-owned businesses.
