The Opening Reception will take place Friday, June 14th from 6pm – 8pm.

Irene Gallion

Irene Gallion is a visual artist born and raised in Natchitoches, La. and currently residing in Shreveport, La. She’s been creating since she was in the fourth grade. As a child, she watched her dad paint beautiful signs for local businesses around Natchitoches. In high school she started hand painting clothes for any and everyone that would allow her to.

She truly began her visual art career in 2016 when she moved to Fort Worth, Tx. She participated in several art shows in Dallas which helped her realize her voice in this world. She creates because it gives her the freedom to say whatever she wants without actually having to open her mouth. Her favorite medium to use is acrylic and spray paint, often using bright colors even when creating emotional pieces. She wants people to know that even in their darkest days it’s always something to smile about.
