
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)- Central Station hosted a Shreveport PRIDE celebration as many cities across the nation have, but some in the LGBTQ community wonder if it is the end of the rainbow.
Alana Oldham said, “It’s worse now than it’s ever been, like even back during the AIDS crisis, we were fighting the government’s response to a disease, now we are fighting the government not wanting us to exist.”
This year, the Trump administration said they have no plans to honor PRIDE month as many past administrations have.
