Shreveport, LA – The Red River Revel released its full 4-stage festival lineup on Monday including two performances from legendary favorites Trout Fishing in America and a variety of music and performing arts groups and interactive activities. The festival will also release group packages for the Balcony VIP experience on Tuesday with single tickets going on sale two weeks later on September 13th.

The full festival slate features four stages, each with their own unique blend of performances, themes, and experiences. The Chase Bank Main Stage will feature over 60 national, regional, and local music groups, and a variety of musical styles. The Depot Pavilion Stage will feature performances from local dance groups, in addition to receiving a major upgrade with the all-new sports bar where patrons can watch football
games and film screenings. The all-new Discovery Maker Zone will be located in the parking lot next to Sci-Port Discovery Center and The J. Bennett Johnston Waterway Regional Visitor Center and will include The Blue Cross/Blue Shield “DMZ” Stage. Performances include a talent show from local youngsters, interactive music experiences, a “Swifties” Fan Takeover, The Joanitones, Spinner Entertainment, and more. The Art Alley Stage returns after its debut in 2022 with evening performances by local singer songwriters from the region.

Trout Fishing in America returns to the Red River Revel with two performances. The duo is the songwriting collaboration of Keith Grimwood and Izra Idlet. For 45 years, their vibrant percussive sound and dynamic stage presence have cultivated a multi-generational fan base at performing arts centers, clubs, and music festivals all around the country. The duo has played the Red River Revel more than a dozen times over the years and 2023 marks their first return to the festival in 6 years. They will perform on the DMZ stage on September 30th and the Depot Stage on October 1.
The all-new Revel Sports Bar introduces a massive, tented space in the back of the Depot Pavilion with 8 widescreen televisions and seating area. A large video wall over the stage will be the perfect spot to catch the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, and Dallas Cowboys games happening during festival hours. The video wall will also showcase Film Prize and Film Prize Jr screenings on October 4th for Prize Fest

Takeover as well as a special film screening on October 5th for the Robinson Film Center Takeover.

Introduced in 2022, The Balconies VIP Experience returns in 2023 with reduced-price tickets for groups, which go on sale on August 28th and the option to purchase single tickets open on September 13th. Groups may purchase an exclusive Balcony for 20 people that includes access credentials, complimentary soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, and assorted Revel Swag. Groups can also choose to upgrade their package to include a fully catered buffet. In addition, groups can arrange to have decorations and signage, as well as their own additional food and liquor delivered to their suite by Balconies VIP Hosts. Single tickets are based on availability nightly and include access credentials, soft drinks and beer, and assorted Revel swag. Red River Revel is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the region around Shreveport, Louisiana with cultural programming in the areas of “Art, Music, Food.” Program events include Shreveport Farmers’ Market, CORK: A Red River Revel Wine Event, Shreveport BREW, and the Red River Revel Arts Festival.
