Join us on Saturday for the BEST DAY of the year, the Downtown Plant Swap! This year, the plant swap is moving to beautiful CADDO COMMON PARK at 869 Texas Avenue.

Presented by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council.The Downtown Plant Swap is FREE to attend or vend and open to all who love plants of any type- indoor, outdoor, vegetable, succulent – you name it. Bring plants to trade, give away or sell. Bring yard art, windchimes, plant stakes, rabbit compost, any sort of thing that gardeners want or need. Bring garden stuff you no longer want for the FREE STUFF table!

A Critically Good Time!

With more critics, more exhibitions, more artists, and more opportunities than ever before, Critical MASS promises an unique look into the arts community of Northwest Louisiana.

Experience 3 exhibition openings featuring Critical MASS 12 alongside the solo exhibitions/performance of Critical MASS 11 Winners Michael Miller, M.L. Dumars and QMajor the Violinist, accompanied by performances and literary readings at the Caddo Common Park Pavilion.

The week begins Thusday, April 25 in Caddo Common Park at 5:00 pm when performers and authors take stage on the pavilion.

On Friday, April 26 at 5:00 pm, artspace opens its doors to announce which artists the Professional Art Critics determined created the most compelling works of Art…ones that merits a $5,000 award and commission to create a Solo Exhibition, Performance, and Literary. This is followed by a performance at 7:30 by QMajor the Violinist.
