NBA’s Robert Williams gives back to his hometown friends. Portland Trailblazer Robert Williams conducted a camp Monday for nearly 200 kids in Shreveport.

Back when he was roaming the basketball courts of Northwest Louisiana, Robert Williams was one of the most feared athletes in the region.

The 6-foot-9 Williams could score from anywhere on the court and could take over a game down low anytime it was needed. During his senior season with North Caddo, Williams averaged 26 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks per game and posted a triple-double against eventual 2A champion Madison Prep in a double-overtime LHSAA semifinal loss.
