Hargrove Roofing welcomes their new COO, Ed Adams, who was in leadership roles with SRS (and then Home Depot after their acquisition), among others. His objectives are to strengthen the culture, improve efficiency, and double the company’s growth.

Adams brings years of experience to the table, in addition to being a close partner of Hargrove Roofing in their short but impressive start in this Industry. Prior to this position, Ed Adams was able to become familiar with the company as Hargrove was a constant vendor for Ed and his team at SRS. At not even eight years old, Hargrove Roofing has gone from a $3mm company with one location in Shreveport, LA in 2018, to a $60mm company with ten locations in 2024. The company has also been named a Top-100 roofing company in the country, five years in a row.

Says company CEO Billy Hargrove, “Ed’s someone we’ve depended on very much and a guy everyone loves, so when we decided to expand and bring someone new into the fold, he was an easy choice and a familiar, trustworthy partner.”

Adams has been in the roofing industry for over twenty years, working with large companies like RSI, SRS and Home Depot, while being a dependable supplier to roofing companies across the Southeast Region of the United States.

“We knew his skill-set was unmatched, but most importantly, he is a great human being and leader,” said Hargrove.

Ed is equally excited for the opportunity, having been a fan of Hargrove Roofing for years.

“I’ve watched Hargrove Roofing since 2020 after the large storm in Bossier City, which really established them. We sold our company to SRS around the same time back in September of 2020, so I was intrigued. I’d never done business with them before but eventually I started to work with Gage Liles (President of Residential Sales), Jeff Draker (President of Production) and Billy, and saw what they were doing and how they were starting to grow. I wasn’t planning on going anywhere else and didn’t consider a single other roofing company until I heard from Billy and Hargrove Roofing.”

Ed is now part of the journey and no longer watching from a distance.

“I’ve been in the roofing industry for 26 years, so just seeing them do the right things, make the right choices and grow with integrity made me want to take it to the next level and fuel the fire. That’s what I do and what I love. As Billy would say, they’re ‘good humans’ and have a good company. They want to do the right things and grow. That’s what makes me excited for the business.”

The future is bright, indeed.
