The Pearl restaurant at 6871 Fern Avenue is getting very close to opening. With an elevated southern comfort food menu and a polished casual vibe, The Pearl owners and staff are eager to create a welcoming atmosphere by serving up delights for the taste buds and excellent customer service. The kitchen is already in full motion preparing meals every day as they get ready to open.

Chef Val Benn is crafting some incredible and creative menu items. One of her favorite starters is the Black-Eyed Pea Hummus with tomato relish, collard green pesto served with chicken cracklins. One of the entrees is Brisket and Grits with smoked brisket, BBQ reduction, smoked gouda stone grits, and maque choux. Order raw oysters from the Oyster Bar or try the cooked Chipotle Bourbon oysters, with chipotle bourbon butter, pepperjack cheese, and cilantro lime pearls, one of the varieties of ‘caviar pearls’ they make in house. And there will be cornbread service.
