Before the final round of the 105th Louisiana Amateur golf championship, third-round leader Greg Berthelot said the key to winning was remembering that par was your friend. On Sunday, he found out that triple bogey can be a friendly score, as well.
For 17 holes, the former Centenary star played so well that he led by four shots when he got to the tee box at the Country Club of Louisiana’s par-4 18th hole.
