The city’s inaugural King Cake Crawl is scheduled to take place Saturday, Jan. 25. The delectable journey, presented by The Festie Besties, is a king cake tasting experience that will take participants on a sweet ride across Shreveport-Bossier. Participants will board a trolley at 1:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon and sample king cakes and Mardi Gras-inspired drinks. The King Cake Crawl starts at Andress Artist and Entrepreneur Center (717 Crockett St.), where participants will get samples of king cake and a special cold brew coffee with king cake foam from Rhino Coffee. There will also be a glitter bar and a photo op.
