According to the Founder & Executive Chef, Blake Jackson, of The Drake Foods Group here are some ingredients to an Epic date night.

For Some Laid Back Bossier Fun:

Enjoy a night out on the East Bank! Test out a few local brews at Flying Heart Brewery, The Garage at Red River Brewing & the soon to come Seventh Tap Tap Room. Head over to the Frozen Pirogue for some charbroiled oysters, then test your hand at a little Axe Throwing at Bayou Axe Co. right next door!

For A Little See & Be Seen In The Heart of Shreveport:

Grab a seat at the bar or plan some resys to take in the amazing apps over at the trending Cypress By Revenir. Get your fill and hop down the block to Superior Steakhouse for a cocktail or small bite at their top-rated bar and lounge. Not ready to call it a night? Swing next door to Havana Cigar Lounge for a nightcap and a stogie!

For The Big Date Night Out:

2Johns is a Bossier City hotspot known for amazing steaks, seafood & cocktail program. Enjoy the top notch service, a seasonal martini and a delicious steak before heading down to one of the five casinos for some non stop entertainment, gambling or a show.

For An Artist Experience:

Start your evening early with a jaunt through Norton Art Gallery, home to some seriously stunning artworks and historical pieces from around the world.

Head over for an early dinner at Fat Calf in the heart of Highland, and don’t forget to sample some of the outstanding wine & cocktail list (with epic non-alcoholic offerings, too!) Scoot downtown and catch a flick at the Robinson Film Center and grab dessert upstairs at Abby Singer’s Bistro!

For A Sporty Night Out:

Get swept up in some pickleball at Querbes Park and work up an appetite! Pack your paddles and grab a cold drink and delicious bite down the street in Madison Park at Ki Mexico for their signature Mexican soul food or Marilyn’s Place for a poboy!

For Romance On The Water:

Catch a sailboat or charter a pontoon boat for a stunning sunset on Cross Lake. Then motor on over to Orlandeaux’s for some of the best Creole & Cajun fare in our area. Don’t miss out on the gumbo and stuffed shrimp!
