From Good to Know Shreveport Bossier – Wendy Benscoter is the Executive Director for Shreveport Common Inc., which is working with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council and the City of Shreveport on the arts-led revitalization of an endangered, historic urban area. Wendy is also the Louisiana representative for the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking. She served as the state liaison for a 10-community Louisiana Creative Communities Initiative piloted by the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in partnership with the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation.
