BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A college in Bossier City has teamed up with Cavalier Players to present a children’s tale that was written by the founder of a local theatre program.
The late Professor Stephen W. Slaughter taught at Bossier Parish Community College and founded the college’s theatre program. Now BPCC students are putting on his play Chicken Little and Friends: Or, The Sky is Falling!
The children’s story about Chicken Little and her friends Henny Penny and Turkey Lurkey takes audiences on a journey past a big bad wolf as Chicken Little travels to reach the king.
