When the 2024 Southside Summer League Swim Meet launches Wednesday morning at Shreveport’s Southside Swim Club, Mason Mayeaux will be having a blast timing the littles before trying his hand at winning his own races on Thursday.
“I’m very excited about swimming, but even more so for timing on Wednesday,” Mayeaux said. “My coach (Tara Hardin) encourages us to be volunteer timers for our team. It’s very fun to time with my friends for the day.”
