SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—A Shreveport transit service has recently been chosen to receive almost $1 million in grant funding.
SporTran Transit is now one of the U.S. Department of Transportation’s SMART Grant recipients. The funding will help SporTran develop a curriculum and training for EV and AV transit services. SporTran’s EMPOWER project received more than $995000 to help build emerging tech skills.
