SHREVEPORT, La. – The Louisiana Grandstand, a Shreveport music venue with deep ties to the region’s cultural history, has officially announced the launch of its 2025 Artist Ambassador Program.
The initiative pairs local up-and-coming musicians with established mentors, giving them guidance, resources and a platform to grow their careers. For its inaugural year, the program has tapped two Shreveport-born country stars: Kix Brooks of Brooks & Dunn and current hitmaker Jordan Davis.
“This program is about building a bridge between those who’ve made their mark and those just beginning their journey,” said Stephen Gillum, co-owner of the Grandstand, during an interview with KTBS. “Launching with hometown legends like Kix and Jordan feels like more than just a milestone — it feels like a homecoming.”
