SHREVEPORT, La. – A 17-year-old patient at Willis-Knighton was able to go home for the holidays after receiving life-saving treatment for her RSV.
Jakiyah Calhoun was in the hospital for 22 days battling RSV. She received ECMO treatment which helped her lungs to heal.
Calhoun was the first pediatric patient to receive the treatment and it was successful.
